Udo Zillmann advises on finance transactions, in particular in the areas of asset finance, asset based lending and corporate finance, mostly in an international context. Among his clients are banks, airlines and other enterprises. In addition, Udo Zillmann also advises on tax issues and tax structurings, often in connection with finance and corporate transactions.

Udo Zillmann studied law and economics at the university of Bayreuth, and was admitted as a lawyer in 2003 and as a tax advisor in 2007. Since 2009, he has been a solicitor (England & Wales). From 2003 to 2007, he worked as a lawyer at Smeets Haas Wolff Rechtsanwälte, now Paul Hastings LLP. He was seconded to Royal Bank of Scotland in 2005. In 2008, he co-founded Zillmann Rechtsanwälte and became its managing partner. Since 2012, he has been a partner in Atticus Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH.

Udo Zillmann has inter alia advised Burdale Financial, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays Capital on finance transactions. He is the co-author of the following publications:
